Cass County Man Dead After Fatal ATV Accident In Ozark County Missouri

A Belton Missouri man died last night in a ATV accident in Ozark County Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a ATV Accident around 11:30pm last night on County Road 529 West of Route J in rural Ozark County. when they arrived on the scene they found Joeseph B Stamey 26 of Belton Missouri dead.  The accident occured when the 2008 Honda Rancher ATV Stamey was driving skidded off the left side of the roadway struck a tree which ejected Mr. Stamey from the ATV and he also struck a tree both the vehicle and driver came to rest in the middle of the roadway. The body was taken to Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville Missouri. Funeral arrangements are pending. Bates County Live will update them when they become available.
