Funeral services for Aaron C. Cook will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Dr. Terry Davis and Reverend Timothy Redding officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 - 11 a.m. prior to services. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. Contributions to Butler Community Food Pantry or Kamp Keirsey.
Aaron Clifford Cook, age 94 of Ballard, Missouri, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Missouri Veterens Home in Warrensburg, Missouri. He was born May 6, 1919 to Elmer Roy and Iona Florence Thomas Cook in Bates County, Missouri.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Cook of Butler, Missouri (formerly of the Ballard community); a son, David Cook and wife Alice of Buckner, Missouri; two daughters, Lois Miller and husband Richard of Leawood, Kansas and Mary Wood and husband Joseph of Grandview, Missouri; five granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Floyd Cook; nephews, Jerry Cook, Roy Cook and Randy Cook; and brother and sister-in-law Grant and Betty Cook.
