On August 14th around 6:30am Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Bates County Sheriff and Amsterdam Fire Department all responded to a 1 vehicle accident on F Highway 0.3 miles East of County Road 9001. The accident occured when the 2003 Chevrolet Truck Driven by Logan T. Rogers of Pleasant Hill Missouri was traveling Westbound crossed the center line, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a culvert. The truck then became airborne, struck the ground and begin to roll coming to rest on it's wheels. Mr. Rogers refused treatment at the scene. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Miller Tow Company.
