Search Warrant Served In Amoret Last Night

 On 2/5/14, Deputies were dispatched to the 600 Block of North Main in Butler in reference to a sexual assault.  On arrival Deputies made contact with the victim and requested an ambulance to assist.  The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. 

Detectives obtain information from the victim at the hospital about the incident.  The victim alleged that she was held at a house in Amoret since Monday February 3.  The victim alleged that during the 3 days she was assaulted.  While at the hospital the victim identified three suspects from a photo lineup.

On 2/5/14, the Bates County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at the residence of Michael Gaston in Amoret Missouri.   During the search warrant three suspects and multiple items of evidence were also taken into custody. 

Beverly “Sue” Williams, 6/16/1953 was charged with Possession of a Controlled substance.  Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

Michael R Gaston, 3/13/1956 was charged with Possession of a Controlled substance.  Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

Mireille A Tawyea, aka “Pebbles”

Mireille A Tawyea, aka “Pebbles”, 6/30/1970 was charged with Possession of a Controlled substance.  Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The charges connected to the sexual assault will be reviewed by the Prosecuting Attorney once all the evidence has been processed.
