This photo taken around the turn of the century features local ball players with the southwest corner of the Butler square as a backdrop. Note the building on the far right is the current Southside Cafe location; at which time was used (upstairs) as a place where men could rent a room. It is rumored that outlaw Jesse James stayed there multiple times.
