Bates County Sheriff's Office: Felon In Possession of a firearm arrest

On 09-14-2014 Bates County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on interstate 49 and 52 highway. The Deputy made contact with the driver and identified him as Ryan Gabriel DOB 01-09-1974 of Amsterdam Mo. During this encounter the deputy discovered Ryan Gabriel who is a convicted felon to be in possession of a 22 caliber rifle. The Deputy arrested Ryan Gabriel for felon in possession of a firearm.

Charges were file and a bond set at 10,000.00 cash or surety for Unlawful Possession of a firearm a class C felony.
