| On Dec. 23, Dwayne Dilbeck, 54, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony possession of a controlled substance and class D felony tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. Bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety. The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation the previous day when contact was made with Dilbeck at his residence on Fourth Street, Osceola. During the investigation Dilbeck picked an item up from the floor, sprinted to the kitchen sink, threw the item in the sink, turned on the water, and flipped an electric switch, turning on a garbage disposal. A clear plastic bag containing a clear crystal substance was found inside the sink drain/garbage disposal. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine. |
