On 08/14/2013 at or about 11:22am officers stopped a pickup for expired license plates. A search of the vehicle was conducted at which time methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle along with drug paraphernalia. The driver and two occupants of the vehicle were arrested and transported to the Bates Co Sheriffs Office pending formal charges. Bates County Live will update then when charges have been filed
