Bates County Sheriff Department along with Butler Fire Department and members of Skydive Kansas City air and ground team has spent the last hour looking for a missing skydiver. The skydiver has been found and is not injured. Unknown for sure what happend but early reports state that his main parachute failed to open and he had to open a reserve parachute. The skydiver landed just West of Douty's Auto Salvage and was picked up by a farmer and brought back to the roadway. Bates County Live will update when and if more information becomes available.
