Weather Update: Tropical Storm Systems About To Fire Up
We're slowly approaching the peak of Hurricane season, and since the weather is quiet locally, here's a quick look at the historical track of tropical systems in relation to Kansas City. As you can see, there have only been 12 documented storms to track WITHIN 200 miles of KC, all in the form of tropical depressions or subtropical depressions. The most recent storm was Hurricane Isaac (2012) which brought some relief to the drought of 2012.
