ARDINA GREEN On Thursday, Sept. 26, a deputy from the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department took a report of stolen fuel from Harper’s Service Station, Osceola. An employee at Harper’s reported an individual paid for $5 in gas and actually pumped $50 and drove off. A request for prosecution was signed. The investigation led to the arrest of Ardina Green, 37, Roscoe, for the stolen fuel and she was also found to be in possession of Lorazepam without a prescription. The drug is a schedule IV controlled substance. |
Deputies made contact with an individual who was in Green’s vehicle and actually pumped the fuel. She agreed to pay for the fuel and Harper’s agreed not to prosecute. Green was booked and released from the St. Clair County Jail pending formal charges for possessing the Lorazepam. On Sept. 27, a criminal summons was issued charging Green with a class C felony of possessing a controlled substance. Further court proceedings are set for Oct. 18.
