Funeral services for Valerie Gentry will be 3:00 PM Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Mullinax Funeral Home (660-679-0009) in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be prior to services from 2 – 3 PM at the funeral home. Burial to follow services in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, Missouri. Valerie Ann (Lane) Gentry, 57 of Belton, Missouri passed away June 28, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Valerie was born April 26, 2014 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Bruce Derrel and Mary (Purcell) Lane.
Valerie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul. She is survived by her sons, Joe Gentry (Renae) of St. Louis, Missouri; Robert Gentry (Barbara) of Independence, Missouri; and James Gentry (Acacia) of Freeport, Texas. She also leaves behind grandchildren Justin, Jonathon, Robbie, Jennifer, Tara, Amira, Paul, and Brandon.
