2014 Bates County Fair Schedule

2014 Bates County Fair Schedule:

• There will be a Carnival Wednesday July 9th through Saturday July 12th. Wristbands can be purchased for $15 per person and used on wristband nights, Wednesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

• Also on Saturday July 12th, The weigh-ins for The Big Catfish Tournament will be at 7pm sharp by the fair Building. For team information on this event call Billy Bryant at 816-223-4943.

4:00pm - 4-H Horse Show

• Tuesday, July 8th

8:30am - 4 -H Evaluation Judging

5:30pm - Parade leaves the fairgrounds

6:30pm - Silent Auction in 4-H building, Bates Co. Bash food & Entrainment, Little Miss & Mr. Bates Co., Talent show ( no auditions)

8:00pm - Super Teens contest

7:00am - Chamber Breakfast

8:00am - Junior Goat Weigh - in

8am - 12noon - Open Division building exhibits, Check-in, Rabbit Show, Poultry show

10:00am - Junior Goat Show

12:00pm - Judging Open Division Building Exhibits

3:00pm - Sheep Weigh - In

5:00pm - Sheep Show, Baby & Toddler Contest Entry (5$ per entry)

6:30pm - Baby & Toddler Contest

10:00am - Draft Horse & Mule Show will run through Monday evening
