Important info regarding the Mid America Live mobile app...

Ah, change. You gotta love it... the world of mobile devices is changing every day, causing grief for some, including us. Specifically, the company who hosts our web app, MyLocal, recently announced changes that have forced us to stop using their services. That's ok with us, it seemed to be plagued with problems anyway.

Thinking this further, we've decided to eliminate the idea of having an app altogether, at least for now.

So what's a quick way to view the news on your mobile device or tablet? Since our web site is already formatted for mobile devices, it's real easy. Simply add a link icon to Mid America Live to your home screen:

For iPhone users:
1. Open your web browser and go to www.midamericalive.com
2. You will see the mobile version of our web page.
3. Press the box with an arrow pointing up at the bottom of the screen.
4. Press Add to Home Screen. An icon labeled as Mid America Live will appear on your home screen. Simply touch to see the latest news!

1. Open your web browser and navigate to www.midamericalive.com
2. Click to add a bookmark.
3. Press and hold on the bookmark you just created, and select Add shortcut to Home.
