The Bates County area was hit with heavy rains, lots of lightning and loud thunder this morning. Several reports of power outages in Butler and surrounding areas were reported with this storm. Some areas in the region has already received 4 inches of rain in a 4 hour time frame. Bates County Live took these photos this morning around the Butler area.
