Attempted Assault with a baseball bat in Rich Hill

The Bates County Sheriff's Office along with Rich Hill Police Department and Bates County EMS are on scene of a attempted assault with a baseball bat in the 300 block of Cedar Street in Rich Hill at this time.

The suspect is said to have fled the area in a unknown make or model gray car at time.

No one was struck with the bat and no injures are reported at this time.
