On July 14, Jayme Boyd, 24, Bolivar, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with an unclassified felony statutory rape-second degree. The warrant was issued on July 12 and bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
The charge stems from an incident on July 1, 2015. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office investigation started on June 7 when a deputy was contacted by a Missouri Department of Children’s Division worker in reference to a possible statutory rape case involving a juvenile and Boyd. An interview was conducted and the victim noted Boyd was a family friend.

At the time of the alleged incident Boyd was 23 years old and the victim was 15 years old. The victim stated the sexual relationship with Boyd lasted a couple of months.
