JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The public is invited to attend an informational meeting on Sept. 7 to discuss Harry S Truman Birthplace State Historic Site in Lamar. The meeting will be held at 10 a.m. in the site’s office.
Site staff will give a brief presentation about progress at the historic site and discuss future plans. Staff will discuss projects completed by the State Park Youth Corp program. Visitors are invited to ask questions and share comments on the historic site. The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by Missouri State Parks to ensure the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.
