Graveside services for Charley Briscoe will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Woodfin Cemetery in Foster, Missouri. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Contributions to Woodfin Cemetery or Charity of Choice.
Charley Briscoe, age 94 of Foster, Missouri, died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Country View Nursing Home in Prescott, Kansas. He was born September 8, 1918 to Walter and Morse Briscoe in Bates County, Missouri.
Charley is survived by two sons, Clyde Briscoe of Foster, Missouri and Mark Briscoe of Riley, Kansas; a daughter-in-law, Kay Briscoe of Rich Hill, Missouri; four grandchildren, Scott Briscoe, Doug Briscoe, Dennis Briscoe and wife Tina and Debra Foster and husband Darren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Prudy; two sons, Charley Jr. and Marion; five brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren, Tom and Sharon.
