On 9/4/14 The Missouri State Highway Patrol along with the Cass County Sheriffs Office responded to a 2 vehicle accident on 2 Highway and blinking light road in rural Cass County.
The accident occurred when the Northbound 2004 Chevrolet driven by 16 year - old Laura E. Williams-Lagrone of Harrisonville, Missouri failed to yield at a stop sign and struck the Eastbound 2006 Dodge van driven by 17 year - old Katheryn B. Yoder also of Harrisoville, Missouri.
A passenger in the 2004 Chevrolet 2 year - old Kyleigh A. Williams was taken by Harrisonville EMS to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri with moderate injuries, Laura Lagrone was seriously injured in this accident and life flighted to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, Yoder wasn't hurt.
