Osage Valley Electric Cooperative has received several reports from our members that have received a call from someone posing as a bill collector from Osage Valley. The member is told that if they do not pay, their electricity will be shut off in an hour. One member was told to go the nearest convenient store and purchase a Green Dot card to avoid disconnect. Please do not respond to this scam. Osage Valley does not ever take credit card information over the phone. Our members can only make credit card payments through our secure automated payment line.
