Jake Mundell of Parker, KS is proud to announce the birth of his little brothers born on September 7, 2014. Alex Henry weighing 5 lbs. 7 oz., Austin Harold weighing 5 lbs. 5 oz. and Johnny Donald weighing 4 lbs. 1 oz. The proud parents are Brian and MaryAnn Mundell of Parker.

Maternal grandmother is Leona Lovell of Hume, MO. Paternal grandparents are Steve and Trish Mundell of Parker, KS and Betty and Harry Holtzer of Florida. Great-grandparents are Johnny and Phyllis Mundell of Parker, KS.

The Mundell Triplets made their first trip to church last Sunday. Congratulations to the family.

Last Saturday despite the brief rain showers a gospel concert was held in the Hume City Park. It was a wonderful evening, thank you to Bill Earnest and all those who performed for the great evening.

Upcoming events in the community are the Youth Rodeo on October 11 in the Hume Arena. The Fairboard is holding a fundraiser at the legion hall on October 18 starting at 3:00 p.m.

The Cub Scout group in Hume is busy selling popcorn, so please support this newly formed group.
