Hunters 11 years of age or older wanting to complete their Hunter Education Certification are required to complete two portions of the Hunter Education Course.
The first portion is the Knowledge portion, followed by a Skills session. Students may complete the Hunter Education Knowledge portion by picking up and completing a free study guide available at H & E West Missouri Veterinary Clinic or by ordering a study guide online or online completion of the Hunter Education Knowledge portion by going to www.mdc.mo.gov for a fee of $15. Before students can attend the Skills Session, they must complete the Knowledge portion.
The Hunter Education Skills session will be held Saturday, September 27th, 2014 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Appleton City High School. There is no charge for the Skills Session but students must have completed the Knowledge portion and have registered for the Skill session in Appleton City by completing the class registration online at www.mdc.mo.gov.
