Obituary - John Warmbrodt

John J. Warmbrodt
(December 31, 1931 - August 16, 2013)

A MEMORIAL MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL:
 Will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Clinton, Missouri at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2013.

VISITATION will be held at the church preceding mass beginning at 9:30 a.m.Father Thomas Hermes will be officiating assisted by Father Philip Egan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clinton animal shelter, or Holy Rosary School. The family would like to thank all of the nurses, physicians, and staff at Research Medical Center who cared for him until the last minutes of his life.

John Joseph Warmbrodt was born December 31, 1931 in Boonville, Missouri. He passed away peacefully August 16, 2013 at the age of 81. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Blanche Warmbrodt, and two sons, Chris and Mark Warmbrodt.

John was a proud veteran of the US Army. He earned a Masters Degree in Administration and spent the last 20 years of his career in the role of Superintendent of Montrose Schools in Montrose, Missouri. He touched the lives of many.

John was an avid sports fan, politically opinionated and loved his cat, Sweet. He never forgot and always loved his home town of Boonville, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Lee, who loved and cared for him for 56 years; his daughter Lynn and her significant other, Gary Narr; son Mitch and wife Karen; and his beloved grandchildren, Jade and Braden. Many friends will miss him and his sense of humor.
