CIRCUIT COURT OF BATES COUNTY, COURT NEWS Dec 17 - 21, 2012

St v. Joseph A Hinrichs, Felony possession of controlled substance, marijuana/methamphetamines, found guilty, given SIS, placed on 3 years probation, to pay court costs, to pay $150 on State Forensic Lab account, to attend and successfully complete and counseling/treatment as directed, to get substance abuse treatment and aftercare, to be subject to random drug testing, random home/vehicle searches. 

St v. Bobbi Sue Register, I: Felony burglary, II: Felony theft/stealing, found guilty, sentenced to 5 years in MDOC on each count, given SES, placed on probation for 5 years, sentence to run concurrently with other sentences, to pay restitution of $250 and court costs including board bill, to attend and successfully complete any counseling/treatment as directed,  to get substance abuse treatment and aftercare, to be subject to random drug testing, random home/vehicle searches, Defe. Shall not possess or consume any alcoholic beverages or be where sold/served, Defe. To perform 200 hours of community service, to serve 6 days in county jail as shock detention and pay daily rate. 

St v. Shall attend and successfully complete any counseling/treatment as directed, complete substance abuse treatment and aftercare, Defe. To be subject to random drug testing, random home/vehicle searches, Defe. Shall not possess or consume any alcoholic beverages or be where sold/served.

Charles Allen Puhr, Sr, I: Felony receiving stole property, II: Felony escape from custody, Felony assault charges dismissed, found guilty on other charges, I: sentenced to 7 years in MDOC, II: sentenced to 4 years in MDOC, sentences to be served concurrently with each other, Defe. Ordered to MO Post Conviction Drug Treatment Program,  given SES, placed on probation for 5 years,  Defe. To pay court costs including board bill, Defe. To get counseling/treatment as directed, to get substance abuse treatment and aftercare, Defe. Shall be subject to random drug testing, random home/vehicle searches, Defe. Shall not possess/consume alcoholic beverages or be where sold/served.   

St v. Charles Allen Puhr, Sr., Felony possession of controlled substance, oxycodone, found guilty, sentenced to 7 years in MDOC, given SES, placed on probation 5 years, sentence to run concurrently with other sentences, to pay $150 on State Forensic Lab Account, pay court costs, Defe. Ordered to Mo Post Conviction Drug Treatment Program.  Defe. To get counseling/treatment as directed, to get psychological counseling, to get substance abuse treatment and aftercare, Defe. To be subject to random drug testing, random home/vehicle searches, Defe. Shall not possess or consume alcoholic beverages or be where sold/served. 

St v. Jacqueline Headley, Felony passing bad checks 3 counts. Found guilty, sentenced to 3 years in MDOC.

Carl M Niemiec, I: statutory rape, found guilty; sentenced to 7 years in MDOC II: statutory rape, dismissed, III: statutory rape, dismissed, IV: endangering welfare child sexual misconduct, found guilty—sentenced to 4 years in MDOC; V: endangering welfare child sexual misconduct, found guilty-sentenced to 4 years in MDOC: VI:  endangering welfare child sexual misconduct, dismissed; VII:  Felony possession of child pornography, found guilty—sentenced to 8 years in MDOC. Sentences to run concurrently with each other. 

St v. Robert G Kennedy, I: Felony stealing; II: burglary,  probation revoked, sentenced to 5 years in MDOC on each count, sentences to run concurrently, SES, placed on 5 years probation, Defe to pay court costs including board bill, to get counseling/treatment as directed, Defe. To submit to random drug testing, random home/vehicle searches.

James Daniel Cochran, Felony possession of controlled substance, marijuana/methamphetamines, found guilty, given SIS, placed on 5 years probation, pay court costs including board bill,  pay $150 on State Forensic Lab account, to attend and successfully complete counseling/treatment as directed,  Defe. To be subject to random drug testing, random home/vehicle searches, Defe. To perform 200 hours of community service, to spend 48 hours in Bates Co Jail as shock detention. 

St v. Brandon M Osburn, Felony possession of controlled substance, hydrocodone, found guilty, given SIS, placed on 5 years probation, Defe. To pay court costs, pay $150 on State Forensic Lab Account, Defe. To attend and successfully complete counseling/treatment as directed, to get substance abuse treatment and aftercare, Defe. Subject to random drug testing, random home/vehicle searches, Defe. Shall not possess or consume any alcohol or be where sold/served, Defe. To perform 200 hours of community service, to spend 4 days shock time in Bates Co Jail and pay board bill.

Evan Michael Ward, I: Felony possession of controlled substance methamphetamines, II Felony possession of controlled substance-hydrocodone,  found guilty, sentenced to 5 years on each count, given SES, placed on probation for 5 years, to pay court costs including board bill, to pay $150 on State Forensic Lab Account,  Defe. To be subject to random drug testing, random home/vehicle searches,  to attend and successfully complete any counseling/treatment as directed,  to get substance abuse treatment and aftercare, Defe. Shall not consume or possess any alcohol or be where sold/served.

Jerry S Mincks, Felony possession of chemicals with intent to create controlled substance, found guilty on one charge, other counts dismissed, sentenced to 5 years in MDOC,  given SES, placed on probation for 5 years, pay court costs and board bill, to attend and successfully complete any counseling/treatment as directed, to get substance abuse treatment and aftercare, Defe. To be subject to random drug testing, random home/vehicle searches,  to perform 200 hours of community service.

Andrew J Crust, Felony possession of controlled substance, alprazolam, found guilty, other charges dismissed, given SIS placed on probation for 4 years, to pay court costs and $150 on State Forensic Lab Account, Defe. To attend and successfully complete any counseling/treatment as directed,  to get substance abuse treatment and aftercare, to be subject to random drug testing, random  home/vehicle searches, to perform 100 hours of community service.
