All-day breakfast on McDonald's menu

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) —It seems the all-day breakfast experiment at McDonald's has been a success.

The fast food Goliath is said to be moving ahead with its plans for around-the-clock McMuffins and other breakfast items.

McDonald's has been testing the idea of all-day breakfast since March. Now an internal memo tells franchisees to be ready for the full roll out in October, according to reports in the Wall Street Journal and Restaurant News.

McDonald's said the tests are ongoing.

"Serving all-day breakfast is likely the number one request we hear from McDonald's customers," said McDonald's spokeswoman Lisa McComb. "We're testing it out in a few markets to learn more about this possibility. We know your mouth is watering, but there's no news on this yet."

The fast food chain typically stops serving McMuffins, hash browns and hot cakes at 10:30 a.m., though the cap on the breakfast menu varies from restaurant to restaurant.

McDonald's is going all out to turn around slumping sales. Its restaurants are grappling with slumping traffic and stiff competition.

Steve Easterbook, who took over as CEO in late January, has promised to improve McDonald's food. He laid out a turnaround vision in May, saying the company will experiment with new sandwiches and changes to how customers order.

Nevada Police Department Arrest three Suspects on Home Invasion

Randy Northrup
The Nevada Police Department report that on July 19, 2015 Nevada Police Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of E Atlantic St in regards to multiple subjects unlawfully entering a home. Nevada Police arrived on scene and began an investigation. It was reported to law enforcement that three white male subjects had unlawfully entered the victim’s residence demanding items that were later determined to be in related to the narcotics trade.

After several minutes, the wanted subjects determined that they burglarized the wrong residence, and the suspects quickly left the area in what was described as a white Dodge van.

Nevada Police Officers began searching the area for the suspect vehicle. Information was received that the suspect vehicle was traveling down Hickory St at a high rate of speed. Moments later a Nevada Patrol Officer located the suspect vehicle on Hickory St, and attempted to execute a stop on the vehicle. The vehicle failed to yield to the emergency vehicle. Other officers were on the same street traveling the opposite direction. The driver of the vehicle attempted to swerve into the driving lane of those officers creating a substantial risk to life and property.

Due to multiple felonies taking place Nevada Police, pursued the suspect vehicle to the northeast part of town. The pursuit led into Vernon County, where Vernon County Sheriff’s deputies assisted along with members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The suspect vehicle traveled off the roadway and thru a cornfield causing severe damage to the crop. Law enforcement set up a perimeter and began a search pattern with the assistance of several reliable citizens. The vehicle was found abandon and stuck in the mud near a wooded area.

During the search, one of the suspect’s in the home invasion surrendered to law enforcement. He was identified as 33 year old, Randy Northrup, from Lebanon, Missouri. He was taken into custody and transported to the Vernon County Jail. Warrants were issued by the Vernon County Associate Circuit Court charging Northrup with the following:

1. Burglary 1st Degree
2. Resisting Felony Arrest
3. Property Damage 2nd Degree

Bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety.

Vernon County Law Enforcement had the assistance of multiple citizens in the search. A drone was used to search for the suspect, along with an aircraft to get an aerial view of the fields below.

On July 20, while conducting police surveillance at about 1330 hours, a second suspect was arrested by Detectives in the area of 300 block E. Walnut. He was conveyed to the Vernon County Jail pending warrant application.

Also in the evening of July 20, a Vernon County Sheriff's Deputy obtained information on the location of a third suspect. He was also taken into custody in rural Vernon County and is in the Vernon County jail pending warrant application.

Citizens are encouraged to contact the police if they have any information that would be helpful to combat crime.
