Funeral services for Davey L. Thomas will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Myrtle Tree Fellowship Assembly of God in Rich Hill with Pastor Robb Titus officiating. Visitation will be prior to the services from 1 - 2 p.m. at Myrtle Tree Fellowship Assembly of God. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in Rich Hill, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Myrtle Tree Fellowship Assembly of God or Heartland Hospice.
Davey Lee Thomas, age 83 of Rich Hill, Missouri died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at his home in Rich Hill. He was born May 8, 1930 to Herman Ralph "Jack" and Alice Opal Culver Thomas in Rich Hill, Missouri.
Davey is survived by two sons, Mike Thomas and wife Kathleen of Adrian, Missouri and Jackie Thomas and wife Glenda of Rich Hill, Missouri; a daughter, Kathy Patch and husband Dan of Shawnee, Kansas; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great great-granchildren; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola; parents; four brothers, Albert, Harold "JR", Ralph "Hook", and Jay Dee; and a great grandson, Damian.
