The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office will host a free prescription drug take back event on Saturday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sheriff Keeler explained the event will allow the public to dispose of unwanted, unused, or expired medications.
Participants can bring prescription medications, pills or tablets in original plastic containers to the sheriff’s office, 360 Chestnut Street, Osceola, Mo. Participants are urged to remove personal information from prescription labels.
“This service is an opportunity put on by the sheriff’s office to help prevent pill abuse, theft, as well as ensuring the prescription drugs are disposed of properly,” said Sheriff Keeler.
