Butler Lady Bears Track Results

On Tuesday the Butler Bears traveled up to Archie to compete in the Archie Whirlwind Invitational. The weather was great and the athletes performed really well.  We are continuing to have seasonal PR’s and personal PR’s at every meet and I am very pleased with everyone’s performances.

The Lady Bears had another great performance and earned a very close 2^nd place team standing out of 15 schools (2.5 points away from 1^st place).

100m Dash: Courtney Blevins- 7^th place

                         Jenna Simms- 8^th place

200m Dash: Makenna Hannah- 8^th place

400m Dash: Mady Gepford- 2^nd place

                         Aarika Gardner-7^th place

800m Run: Mady Gepford- 2^nd place

100m Hurdles: Kiersten Morris- 2^nd place

300m Hurdles: Kiersten Morris- 1^st place with a time of 49.16

High Jump: Amy Miller- 4^th place

Pole Vault: Aarika Gardner- 7^th place

Long Jump: Mady Gepford- 3^rd place

                        Peyton McGuire- 4^th place

Triple Jump: Amy Miller- 2^nd place

                          Peyton McGuire- 3^rd place

Shot Put: Courtney Blevins- 8^th place

4x100m Relay: Courtney Blevins, Makenna Hannah, Amy Miller, Kiersten Morris- 4^th place

4x200m Relay: Makenna Hannah, Mady Gepford, Amy Miller, Kiersten Morris- 2^nd place

4x400m Relay: Jenna Simms, Makenna Hannah, Aarika Gardner, Peyton McGuire- 7^th place
