| What's left of the truck after the vehicle fire |
The Butler Fire Department along with The Bates County Sheriffs Office responded to the report of a grass fire involving a vehicle.
The location of this fire was West of Butler on 52 Highway to K Highway then 5 miles South on K Highway. The fire occurred when the truck became stuck and the heat from the exhaust caught the grass on fire which in turn caused the truck to become engulfed. No one was injured in this accident.
