The heat will be here to stay through the weekend and the beginning of next week. Highs today and tomorrow will be in the mid to upper 90s with a Heat Index of ...100-105. As such, a Heat Advisory is in effect until 8PM Saturday. Sunday through Tuesday, temperatures will continue to be hot but heat index values will not be as high. A cold front will finally push through the area Tuesday night bringing a chance of thunderstorms.
