On 09-16-14 at approximately 1700 hours Butler Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Delaware and Flo in reference to an attempted assault. Upon arrival to the area, Officer’s attempted to make contact with a male subject, later identified as Billy J McBrien.
Mr.McBrien fled from the area on foot in an attempt to elude officers. McBrien was chased into a residence at 205 S Deleware. Numerous eye witness accounts placed McBrien within the residence.
A search warrant was later obtained and with the help of the Bates County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State
Highway Patrol, McBrien was safely extricated from the residence and arrested on a Felony Probation Violation Warrant. McBrien was taken to the Bates County Jail where he is being held with no bond.
