The Butler Police Department along with The Bates County Sheriff's Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol has been in a standoff for the last couple hours with a unknown male subject at a residence located at 205 S. Delaware Street in Butler.
We don't have much information on the cause of this standoff at this time, Apparently from what we know the police attempted to contact a unknown male subject and that subject fled into a house.
However with-in the last 20 minutes The suspect has been taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Bates County Jail.
