April 13th - Officers respond to Typhoon Bay car wash; animals running loose at Hilltop Trailer Court;
911 hang up in the 500 block of North Main; Ex Parte violation in the 300 block of South Main; animal call in the 200 block of South Delaware; theft report in the 500 block of West Dakota st.; reported C&I driver on West 52 highway; gas drive off at Casey's; animal call in the 200 block of South Olive; subject with warrant at Walmart; alarm at grade school; medical assist in the 200 block of West Lee; 911 call in the 600 block of West Nursery; animal complaint in the 200 block of South Delaware; theft report in the 500 block of West Dakota; leave without pay at Casey's of Fort Scott; medical assist in the 200 block of West Lee; property dispute in the 200 block of South Birch.
April 14th - Officers respond to Walmart on the report of a subject with a gun. Officers locate a white male with handgun holstered in plain view with a knife. Suspect was escorted out of the building. Store management requests subject not carry firearms in the store; Butler officers with assistance from the Bates County Sheriff's Department served a search warrant on North Water. Some of the items seized included a laptop computer, cell phones and other electronic devices used to store images.
April 15th - Officers respond to the 400 block of South Fulton on a C&I vehicle report; sick raccoon in the 300 block of East Bennett; limb blocking road in the 100 block of South Lyons; Family Services Hotline call in the 600 block of West Ohio; C&I vehicle stop on East Nursery; speak to subject on property dispute; alarm call at City Hall.
April 16th - Officers respond to a disturbance at Super 8; alarm at Community First Bank; 911 hang up in the 800 block of North Fulton; keep the peace in the 400 block of South Delaware; 911 hang in the 600 block of West Nursery; medical assist at Hilltop Trailer Court; keep the peace at the hospital ER; take phone harassment report at PD; assault report at hospital ER; keep the peace in the 100 block of West Wilson street.
April 17th - Theft report at Casey's; assisted Bates County Sheriff's Department on attempted break in; well being check on South Willow; assist Butler Fire Department in the 300 block of North Maple; 911 hang up in the 400 block of West Ohio; 300 block of West Chestnut, possible break in; leave without pay at the Filling Station; open door checked at business on North Bus. 71 highway; assault in the 300 block of North Water st.; assisted DFS in the 300 block of East Fort Scott.
April 18th - possible domestic in the 800 block of West Grove; possible prowler in the 800 block of South Birch; medical assist in the 400 block of South High; two vehicle accident in the Walmart parking lot.
