* Major roads are clear with crews working to clear all minor roads in southwest Missouri
* More light snow predicted overnight with blowing snow could cover roads once again Tuesday into Wednesday
Weather Conditions: Most of the heavy snow fall has moved out of the area and temperatures remain around the freezing mark. Additional light snow is predicted Tuesday night into Wednesday morning with one to three inches possible along the Route 54 corridor with a dusting to an inch south of Route 54.
Travel Conditions: Drivers are urged to use extreme caution when traveling overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Additional snow will cause roads to become covered again. In some areas, blowing snow also may cause roads to become covered. Road Clearing: Snow coupled with temperatures near the freezing mark have allowed MoDOT crews to make steady progress clearing roadways during the day Tuesday. Full to partial snow-clearing crews will stay on the job Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Crews will plow roads as necessary and treat areas that may refreeze overnight. Driveways: As crews plow roads, driveways and other entrances may become blocked by snow.
