Due to a loss of communication lines from ongoing thunderstorm
activity, all NOAA weather radio transmissions are off-line and phone
lines into the Pleasant Hill office are unavailable. Technicians are
currently troubleshooting the problem, however a return of service
time is unknown.
All County residents with these radios should monitor alternate methods of weather information until service is restored. However, no severe weather is expected with any of the thunderstorms associated with the system currently moving through our area, though torrential rain and locally gusty winds can be expected from the strongest storms.
