Funeral services for Ray Thomas will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 21 at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. Contributions to Happy Hill Church of God or Butler First Christian Church.
Ray Warren Thomas, age 85 of Butler, Missouri died Monday, May 19, 2014 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. He was born January 12, 1929 to Stephen Olen and Edna Mae Utley Thomas in Butler.
Ray is survived by his wife, Ina Mae Thomas of Butler, Missouri; three daughters, Vickie Mae Fowler and husband Jerry, Dianna Rae Silver and Lisa Rayna Hager, all of Butler, Missouri; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Norma Aileen Weaver.
