- On 7/30/14 around 10:30pm The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 45 year old Melany J. Ghys of Butler, Missouri. She was arrested on 1.) Felony possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) 2.) Unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Bates County Jail and later released.
