There's no denying that grass and thatch is bone dry right now and warmer temps literally can add fuel to the fire...If possible, avoid outdoor burning until we get some precipitation. Otherwise, keep a watchful eye on burn barrels, grills and fire pits.
It is recommended that you not burn off fields at this time; however, if you must do a controlled burn, please notify your local fire department so they may be aware of it.
