The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Bates County and surrounding areas for this afternoon/overnight. The advisory will be in effect from 4 pm this afternoon through 10 am tomorrow morning.
The forecast calls for freezing rain to switch over to snow during the overnight hours with 1-2 inches expected.
