Hume Community News 3/16/15

The Community of Hume wishes to extend their sympathy to the family of Tom Murray, long time resident just south of Hume. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

The Community also wishes to extend their sympathy to the family of Flo Jones, former resident of Hume. She will also be greatly missed by family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers go out to both of these families.

On March 7 a birthday party was held for Easton Wooldridge 2nd birthday in Nevada, MO. The party was hosted by his parents, Ryan and Cathie Irwin Wooldridge. A host of family and friends enjoyed supper, cake and ice cream and of course lots of presents.

The card shower held for Mildred McGee was a huge success. The stack of cards she received put a big smile on her face. She appreciated all the card and notes so much. They will be read many times over.

The Annual Lion’s Pancake Supper is this Saturday, March 21 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Community Center in Hume. Come out and help this awesome club that does a lot of good in our community and surrounding area. If you or your children have ever played ball out at the ball park now is the time to come and thank them and support the Pancake Supper.
