Nevada man arrested after Vernon County accident

The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County arrested 40 year old Billy J. Shepherd of Nevada, Missouri around 12:49 a.m. this morning after a accident in Vernon County.

Mr. Shepherd was arrested on 1.) Misdemeanor driving while intoxicated 2.) Careless and imprudent driving resulting in a accident 3.) No seatbelt.

Mr. Shepherd was transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri for treatment for his injuries.
