C. Lynn Munro, 66, Belton, MO, died June 28, 2015. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to favorite animal charity or shelter.
C. Lynn was born June 15, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Paul and Ruth Munro. She received a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and later received a doctorate in American studies from the University of Iowa. She had taught at U.M.K.C.in studies programs and later as an adjunct English lecturer. She had also taught at Stockton State College in Pomona, New Jersey. C. Lynn was a technical writer for AT&T and Petersons in Kansas City, Missouri. She wrote a book, “Galbraithian Vision: Cultural Criticism of John Kenneth Galbraith”. She also wrote several articles for different scholar magazines. She rode a BMW motorcycle; she enjoyed working in the yard; working on DIY projects; watching her favorite TV show, Jeopardy. She loved her animals and supported several animal shelters and animal organizations.
C. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Tom Munro. She is survived by several loving friends and her dog, Roadie.
