Hannon accepted the role of CEO of Bates county Memorial Hospital in mid -September of 2013.
Since then he has been spending much of his time reviewing the operations and programs of the Hospital and his overall assessment is that Bates County has a community Hospital that is a hidden treasure.
Mr. Hannon commented that Bates County Memorial has a very dedicated and well trained medical staff with many of these Primary Care Physicians that have chosen to work and live in our community. CEO Hannon that our hospital has a very well trained nursing and technical staff, as well as dozens of support staff , to include Doctor’s that specialize in these specific fields and others, such as Orthopedic, Urology, Cardiology , Podiatry and Pain Management services at Bates County Memorial Hospital.

The hospital has been making changes to the electronic medical record and billing systems. Bates County Memorial CEO Edward Hannon is taking an active role in monitoring the changes and believes that most of those billing system problems have now been identified and are being corrected.
