Graveside funeral services for Elouise Smith will be 3:30 PM Friday, May 23, 2014 in Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery, Lee’s Summit, Missouri with Michael Ketcher officiating. Visitation prior to services from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler, Missouri (660-679-0009). In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Heartland Hospice of Butler. Elouise (Owsley) Smith, 92 of Butler, passed away May 21, 2014 at Heartland of Willow Lane in Butler. She was born April 21, 1922 in Hickory County, Missouri, daughter of Dewey B. and Ruby (Clayton) Owsley.
Elouise was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard A. Smith. She is survived by a son, Ronald Smith and wife Sue of Butler; daughter Donna Harrison and husband Jerry of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; grandchildren Lin Smith, Camille Ketcher, Courtney Harrison, and Tammy Straub. She also leaves behind nine great-grandchildren.
