Vernon County Sheriffs Office: Hume Man Arrested

A rural Hume man has been booked at the Vernon County jail for the alleged failure to appear in court on previous charges. 39-year-old Brent D. Morrison was processed Thursday. He was charged January 23 with a misdemeanor assault count and the failure-to-appear warrant was issued April 24. 

He also faces a misdemeanor charge alleging driving with a revoked operator's permit and a felony count alleging the failure to register as a sex offender was added April 9. Morrison also is scheduled for trial December 11 on a 2013 charge alleging the unlawful possession of a firearm.
