Diana Lynn (Gunderson) Werner was born September 11, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Marvin and Glenda (Grove) Gunderson. Diana was an extremely kind person who would help anybody in need. Her family describes that no matter what you went through, she always accepted you. “God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to Me.”
Diana was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jeremy, daughter, Rebecca, and son, Robbie, as well as her step-father, James. She is survived by son Larry David Hawkins and wife Lisa; daughter Jennifer Schaller and husband Bruce; daughter Connie Cooper (Nick Carter); son Ryan Werner; son Glenn Werner, III; son Brandon Werner; 18 grandkids; and her former husband, Glenn Werner, Jr.; brothers Michael, Jimmy and Jeff; and sister Patty.
