Tom was born May 28, 1931 in Bates County, Missouri, son of John Russell and Leta (Walley) Lewis. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Betty Lacy, Peggy Lewis and Jane Dykman, and brothers Wilford, Richard and Joe Lewis. Among survivors are sisters Missie Good of Amsterdam, Missouri; sister Alice Pitts of South Carolina, and Deana Vermillion of Oklahoma; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
