Darryl D. Lawrence, 62, Harrisonville, a pedestrian, was in the roadway looking for a part from a previous crash. A unknown vehicle traveled over the hill, struck Lawrence with the drivers side mirror and left the scene. The unknown vehicle was westbound and possibly a SUV unknown make or model.
Darryl D. Lawrence experienced minor injuries and was transported by private vehicle to the Cass County Medical Center.
Missouri Highway Patrol Corporal J.E. Givens investigated the accident and was assisted by Trooper DeHann.
