The forecast remains on track for widespread light snowfall across the area. Overall, 2 to 3 inch amounts look likely with this storm There may be localized areas in eastern Kansas and western Missouri see around 4 inches.
But it get's better, temperatures will plummet into the single digits by Tuesday morning, potentially setting records. Wind chill values approaching -10° are also possible Tuesday morning. Temperatures may not get back above freezing until Wednesday and more likely by Thursday.
